Warm sunny days, cool nights, very little rainfall and winds mainly from the south-east.
Daylight lasts from 6:00 a.m. to nearly 10:00 p.m.
Temperatures can reach 32ºC during the day, but go down to 18ºC at night.
Occasionally it gets even colder, and the mountains get a sprinkling of snow.
March 21 to June 21
Cool days and cold nights... Temperatures range from 4ºC to 13ºC. Most autumn days are cool and crisp, although there may be heavy rainfall and a few early snowfalls, particularly in the mountains.
June 21 to September 21
The weather may be either cold and snowy or bright and sunny. Daylight lasts from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Temperature ranges from 0ºC to -10ºC.
Snow in town may be 10 to 50 cm deep during the coldest winters.
September 21 to December 21 Cool days grow longer as temperatures gradually rise and rainfall decreases.
Nights are cold, while daytime temperatures range from 7ºC to 20ºC.
Toward the end of spring, in October and November, strong westerly winds blow, sometimes reaching nighttime speeds of over 100 km per hour.
